Unleash the Jukebox: Red Bull and Bolo Brothers Creative’s Epic Nashville Experience!
Ready to see how we turned a concert into an interactive spectacle? Dive into our latest campaign and discover the magic behind Red Bull Jukebox!
Objective:
Red Bull aimed to promote its event, Red Bull Jukebox, a unique concert experience in Nashville, TN, where fans could control the show in real-time, much like a jukebox. The goal was to generate excitement and engagement for the event, which featured notable country artists, through dynamic and visually captivating promotional content.
Our Approach:
Collaboration and Ideation:
Creative Teams Integration: The campaign was a collaborative effort, combining two creative concepts. Sean Davé, the creative director, worked alongside our internal creative team to develop one idea, while Red Bull’s creative team developed another.
Storyboarding: We enlisted storyboard artist Victor Huckabee to visualize the pre-production elements, ensuring a cohesive and engaging narrative.
Production Process:
VFX Collaboration: Partnering with VFX artist Matt Delisi, we created epic animated elements. These animations used a physical jukebox as a canvas to display key information, using a fun mixed media approach of blending existing assets with new verbiage
Custom Soundtrack: We partnered with producer Jeremiah Nave to create a custom soundtrack for the commercial. The track combined multiple country genres into a single, cohesive piece, featuring live guitars, drums, fiddle, 808’s, marching band elements, and banjos. This rich and authentic soundtrack played a crucial role in capturing the spirit of the event and engaging the audience.
Teaser Creation: The final product was a teaser video in both 9x16 and 16x9 formats, each under one minute long. This teaser was designed to capture the event’s essence and showcase the powerhouse of what Nashville, Tn means to country music.
Expansion of the Campaign
Following the success of the initial teaser, Red Bull announced an online game tied to the Red Bull Jukebox event. This game featured country music trivia questions, with fans competing to win free concert tickets.
Task: Bolo Brothers Creative was tasked with creating promotional content for the game. We reused assets from the original Red Bull Jukebox video to maintain visual consistency and brand identity.
Outcome:
The promotional content for the online game was successfully delivered, further engaging the audience and driving participation in the trivia game.
The cohesive visual strategy and fun content helped solidify the Red Bull Jukebox event’s presence both offline and online, showcasing the power of integrated marketing campaigns.

The video was met with wide acclaim, effectively promoting the event and generating buzz. The dynamic visuals, interactive elements, and custom soundtrack resonated well with the target audience.
