Concept Development:

When Epiphone saddled up to honor the legendary Jimi Hendrix with the release of the Flying V guitar, they called on Bolo Brothers Creative to wrangle a campaign that packed a punch as bold and wild as Hendrix himself. With our boots on the ground and hats tipped to the psychedelic outlaw spirit, we rode into the creative frontier, spinning tales of animation, live-action, and rock ‘n’ roll.

Creative Collaboration

Creative Direction: Robert Borges wrangled the big-picture vision, ensuring the content rode tall in the saddle of Hendrix’s legacy.

Animation: Partnered with Matt Delisi of Brandchild VFX, who brought along the heavy-hitters—Dreambear, Tom Jarrett, and a posse of top-notch illustrators and animators. Together, they crafted a psychedelic showdown that reflected Hendrix’s colorful mind.

Art Direction: Kaitlyn Baush rode into detail territory with precision. From custom bed sheets to a tapestry, a soccer bag, and a fireplace, she nailed every piece of Hendrix’s London flat like a marksman at high noon.
